With the passage of the classification rules for Fast Pitch Softball in Indiana ASA in 1999, each pitcher must be classified by the Indiana ASA Fast Pitch Classification Committee.  One of the general guidelines is that is a pitcher wins a tournament game in the prior season’s State Finals (or beyond the State), the pitcher will not move to a lower classification the next time they compete.  Obviously, at times, there may be exceptions.  Following is a list of pitchers classified to date.  Any pitcher who would like to have their classification considered or reconsidered should make their request to: Fast Pitch Reclassification Committee; Bob Waters, member; 754 Locke Court; Nappanee, IN  46550-1216; Telephone: 574-221-9127; bwaters48881@mchsi.com.  PLEASE NOTE: The National ASA Code supersedes Indiana ASA rules on player classification.  For more complete information visit: www.softball.org.
